Purchasing a home is one of the biggest decisions anyone can make in their lifetime. Each buyer has their own unique tastes and designs when it comes to the design of their home. At Orth Construction we understand the desire to be able to make the choices that can turn a house into a home. Orth Construction has a streamlined process and one of the many reasons to purchase an Orth Home. Our Design Center process comes in 3 parts.

1) Lot & House Plan review with your Project Manager

The first step is to review your plans in detail with the project manager assigned to your home.  We will have the blueprints drawn to match your home.  At this time we will review the entire layout of the home to include electrical, flooring, plumbing, crown molding, exterior elevations and any items pertaining to your lot.  At this time you may decide where you want your cable outlets located, extra receptacles in particular space or additional crown molding in one certain room.  Any questions concerning layout or location of certain products within the home will be addressed at this time.

2) The Finishes

Once the plan review is complete you will begin to pick out all of the finish items within your home.  One of our Design Center specialists will guide you through the process of picking the final details to turn the house plans into a reality.  Selections begin with the exterior finish where you will choose your brick, stone, siding colors, garage doors, window style, front door, shingles and shutters.  Moving to the interior of the home you will be able to choose everything from kitchen cabinets, countertops & backsplash, appliances, light fixtures, hardwood floors, tile and tile design, showers, paint and carpet.  Our showroom is set up with all the materials you will need to make your home match your unique tastes and desires.

3) Finalization

Any details that may need to be discussed prior to us building your home will be discussed at this time.  We will review any upgrades that were made during the selection meeting, discuss the building process and timeline and give you the final details needed for you to be comfortable in understanding the next steps of building your home.
